Macao University of Tourism (UTM) held 2024 Career Day on 16 April at UTM Taipa Campus. A total of 65 organisations (including 3 from Guangdong and 1 from Hong Kong SAR) from various sectors set booths and provided over 1,500 job vacancies with job details and employment information, as well as the latest trend in the job market to UTM graduating students. On the same day, two alumni, Ms. Fifi Wong, Vice President of HR Business Partner at Galaxy Entertainment Group and Mr. Ricky Chan, Director, Housekeeping at The St. Regis Macao were invited to share their personal experiences, challenges, and successes in navigating their career path. They also provided practical tips for a successful transition from campus life to the professional world for the graduating students.

IFTM Alumni Association recently organised a visit to the non-gaming facilities of Galaxy Entertainment Group’s Phase 3 project, including the Galaxy International Convention Center, Galaxy Arena, Galaxy Auditorium and Andaz Hotel. The Alumni Association of Macao Institute for Tourism Studies and its Guangdong Chapter have recently joined the "International Bay Area Schools Alliance"! The 6th Macao Institute for Tourism Studies Alumni Association holds its inauguration ceremony. The new members will strengthen connections and cooperation with the tourism industry. Meanwhile, it is announced that the Guangdong Branch is established to further consolidate connections with mainland alumni and they look forward to expanding the alumni network in mainland in the future.

Dear alumni, The Macao Institute for Tourism Studies Alumni Association (hereafter as "IFTMA”) was established in April 2003. It is a local nonprofit organisation in Macao. Over the past 20 years, the association has served as a bridge between alumni and the Macao Institute for Tourism Studies. The members of the association's cabinet are talented individuals nurtured by the institute, holding various positions in different fields within society. The association's objectives include strengthening the connections among alumni, advocating for their rights and interests, promoting exchanges within the industry, and carrying forward the spirit of the IFTMA.
