The Institute welcomed 600 guests on Saturday, 3 March this year to our Open Day. Prospective students, parents, alumni and the general public had a chance to experience what it is like to be a student here. Coordinated, operated and hosted traditionally by the second year students of BSc in Tourism Event Management and assisted by their first year schoolmates, the event made it possible for everybody to enjoy the practical classes including welcoming and checking-in guests, savouring our delicious foods like homemade sausages and pancakes, tasting wines, making beds, ironing clothes, and the list just goes on...

IFT Received Awards from the First Competition & Symposium of Design for Souvenir and Gift of Macao Tourism
Since the beginning of tourism travel, people have always wanted to bring a piece of their experience back home to share with their friends and family. For travelers, souvenirs that represent the destinations they have been to, or the things they have seen, are typically what they look for. With the purpose to enhance the quality of local souvenirs, Chinese and Western Cultural Creative Industries Promotion Association (Macao) organised the First Competition & Symposium of Design for Souvenirs and Gifts of Macao Tourism. Funded by the Macao Cultural Affairs Bureau, the competition initiated in the beginning of 2011 and works were collected in August.
