“Artistic Excellence Exhibition, Department of Cultural and Creative Arts, The Education University of Hong Kong”, the third event organised under the programme "Art Macao", is held at the Macao Institute for Tourism Studies (IFT) starting from 27 September. The exhibition is co-organised by IFT and Department of Cultural and Creative Arts of the Education University of Hong Kong, showing the public the outstanding works of the teachers and students, while at the same time, promoting the artistic exchanges between the teachers and students of the two institutes.
Artistic Excellence Exhibition, Department of Cultural and Creative Arts, The Education University of Hong Kong is exhibited at IFT from 27 September to 27 December. This exhibition features outstanding works created by teachers and students of the faculty, including Chinese paintings, prints, drawings and photographs with rich and diverse theme.
From June to October, IFT is organising a series of activities named "Art Mingle@IFT" under the programme Art Macao. The series is intended to gather, blend and showcase the most important features of the Chinese and Western culture and art. Two series of activities were held successfully earlier, including: Splendid Quintessence - Chinese Calligraphy held in June, and “Reunion”Group Exhibition of Contemporary Art, held in August. The development of cultural ties between Hong Kong and Macao is one of the objectives of this art exchange project. Through this exhibition, we hope that, in addition to bringing over outstanding works of art for local people to appreciate, we can also promote exchanges and strengthen linkages between teachers and students from both regions.
IFT has always been supporting the development of cultural and creative industry of Macao. Through different art courses and exhibitions, it has exposed students and the public to various artistic works. In the future, IFT will continue to provide opportunities to students and citizens to expose to art and also to participate in art creation
