Biography

    Ali Bavik 白曉利 is an Assistant Professor at Institute for Tourism Studies (IFT), Macau. Bavik completed his Ph.D. at University of Otago and his undergraduate studies at Eastern Mediterranean University. His research interests are in the area of hospitality marketing and hospitality management, specifically, nepotism, organizational culture, consumer behavior, job satisfaction, and employee performance management. Bavik has international lecturing experience from Cyprus, New Zealand, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Hong Kong, and Macau. Bavik has also served as a Director of Tourism and Hospitality Training Centre at Al-Faisal University in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

    He has a number of published journal articles and conference papers in topics related to human resource management and tourism marketing. He also has had numerous abstracts and has presented his research work at major conferences. He recently awarded by “Abraham Pizam Recognition Award” during 7th World Conference for Graduate Research in Tourism, Hospitality and Leisure in Turkey.
