自傳

    Ahmed received his Ph.D. from the Lincoln University, Christchurch, New Zealand. Currently, Ahmed is a lecturer at Macao Institute for Tourism Studies (IFTM) . He teaches qualitative research methods, tourism management and heritage courses. Ahmed has also been providing training lectures on heritage and special interest tourism products for IFTM Global Centre for Tourism Education and Training hosts in collaboration with The World Tourism Organization (UNWTO). Ahmed has practical experience in a variety of hotel/tourism industry and heritage tourism industry in Egypt, United States, Australia and New Zealand. He has served in Lebanon and France as an overseas program coordinator for The Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO).  Ahmed has also taught before in different educational institutions in the United States and New Zealand. He has a broad range of research interests and currently his research centers on religious tourism, established and emerging qualitative research methods in tourism studies, cultural heritage interpretation, visitor management and post-colonialism.
