Kirby became one of the full-time instructors of SCE in 2010. Before, he worked in hotels and casinos of Wynn, Sands and Galaxy in dealing with Japanese customers. He joined IFTM in 2008 as a part-time Japanese instructor. He is now teaching Japanese Courses and also playing the role of simultaneous interpreter for the Tour Guide Course.
