Successful completion of Tour Guide course or Certificate in Tour Guiding

Course Fee:

Macao Resident: MOP2,500

Non-Macao Resident: MOP2,500

Certificate:

A student must develop a thematic guiding route, and submit a written report of the thematic guiding route of not less than 3,000 words before s/he can take the guiding practical examination. Students must take the guiding practical examination in the language of the course that they have enrolled.
Students who pass the practical examination and met the attendance requirement will receive a “Macao Heritage Tour Guide” certificate which is issued by UTM.

Objective:

To deepen the knowledge of local tour guides in the area of Cultural Heritage so they can improve their ability and become a Cultural Heritage Tour Guide.

Remarks:

Students who have successfully completed the Macao Heritage Tour Guide Course and Cultural Heritage Interpretation for World Heritage Sites, and obtained a minimum score of 70% in both final examinations, will be awarded the certificate of Specialist Guide for World Heritage Sites (Macao).
