1) Completion of the “Preparation Course for Art Certificate Examination of China Institute - Sketch (Grade 2)” course or 2) Achieved a sketching course certificate from other academies (with a minimum duration of 36 hours and a copy of the certificate is required to be submitted) or 3) Possess some basic sketching skills (a copy of sketch work is required to be uploaded/ submitted upon application)

Students who have obtained a passing grade of the course and met the attendance requirement will be issued a course certificate by UTM. The passing grade of the course is 50.
In addition, after submission of the completed artwork and assessment by the China Institute of Arts Science & Technology, students will receive a “China Fine Art Graded Examination Certificate”.

| Objective:

Upon completion of the course, students should be able to
• make use of more advanced sketching techniques to draw three different plaster casts in geometric shape
• practise the major steps of sketching from life
