Pre-requisites: 1) Completion of the “Introduction to Photography”, or 2) Achieved a photography certificate from other academies (with a minimum duration of 20 hours and a copy of the certificate is required to be submitted) or 3) Possess some basic photography skills (a color photography work is required to be uploaded/ submitted upon application)

Certificate: Students who have obtained an overall passing grade of the course and met the attendance requirement will be issued a course certificate by UTM. The passing grade of the course is 50.

Objective: This course aims to improve students’ photography skills. Through this course, students will be able to solve common problems with photo shooting and understand how to use different camera modes effectively.

  • Dealing with defocusing
  • Correct exposure
  • Outdoor shooting techniques
  • Composition and effects of focal lengths
  • Photo depth
  • The use of light
  • Editing photos with Lightroom
  • Photography works: analysis and review

Travel to Nepal, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Cambodia to have various specialphotography topics. Communicated with the photographers from those countries tohave more idea for difference kind of photography topics.

Travel to Kenya three times andstayed there more than one month to have the Nature photography topic,especially for the great immigration .

New concept to take photo for Macau fireworks. the "Rolling Fireworks" is a new photostyle and earn salon medal for this kind of photos.

Recently won  the championship   of   "Image of The Year"  -The 2018 annual (Large Color) group in The Photographic Society of American (PSA) has a general election.

Remarks:

Students should bring their own DSLR camera and lenses.
