Biography

Joey received her Bachelor's degree in Finance from National ChengChi University in Taiwan and a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom. She has been teaching the subjects of economics, statistics and finance at tertiary level. Her primary research interest is in development economics, mainly focus on the empirical study of the Greater China. Before joining IFT, she participated in the research project - '' Macroeconometric Model of Macau'' which aims at forecasting the economic growth of different sectors in Macau. By integrating the economic concepts and quantitative skills to tourism, Joey develops her research field in industrial economics and tourism policy.
