Don WU is the lecturer at Institute for Tourism Studies. Prior to joining Institute for Tourism Studies, He has taught at the University of Macau and the City University of Hong Kong. WU is the council member of Hong Kong Statistical Society and adjudicator of the Statistical Project Competition for Hong Kong Secondary School Students. He graduated from the City University of Hong Kong with a Bachelor of Business Administration (First Class Honors) and a Master of Philosophy (Statistics).
WU has extensive experience in planning and executing large-scale opinion polls and has over 40 different types of research projects, including large-scale telephone interviews (14,000 samples per year), intercept survey (1200 samples), mystery shoppers visit (150 visits for every half year), data mining project (with more than 1 million observation), mixed approach research (30 in-depth interviews, 3 focus groups, 1000+ telephone interview) .
