Format & Style

Tourism & Hospitality E-Review (THeR) seeks short manuscripts reflecting the broad scope and diversity in the tourism, heritage, hotel, events, gastronomy and related industries. These may be reports about interesting developments and practices, sharing of organizational or personal experience, commentaries about issues, or insights for discussion and debate.  Authors are responsible for any facts and views expressed, and THeR reserves the right to select only those manuscripts that are consistent with its aims. 

Short manuscripts should be between 500-1000 words in length and typed in double line spacing. Articles should be concise and clearly written. Well-chosen tables and graphs will enhance presentation. Tables, graphs, pictures and other illustrations should be properly numbered and captioned. Authors are responsible for copyright clearance and/or referencing of any secondary materials submitted to THeR.

A Cover Page should be attached to submissions, bearing the title of the manuscript, the author's name, affiliation, e-mail address, full postal address and telephone and fax numbers. Respective affiliations and addresses of co-authors should also be clearly indicated.  

Subsequent pages should contain text, notes, references, tables and figures. (embedded within the text).

Authors are responsible for copyright clearance and/or referencing of any secondary materials submitted to THeR.  Any material published in THeR will be publicly accessible.  Copyright of the published articles will belong to THeR.

Review Process

Manuscripts are evaluated by our editorial committee solely on the basis of the submitted text, the clarity of exposition on the problem/issues, and the relevance of the ideas to the advancement of practice and thinking in the broad areas of tourism and hospitality. First authors will be informed about acceptance or otherwise within three months of submission.
