The committee shall consist of from nine up to eleven members, where as at least five (5) of the nine committee members must be active working chefs.
A member wishing to be elected in the committee shall apply to the committee at least one (1) week prior to the AGM in writing and be present at the time of selection. The applicant shall not be in the committee of a similar organization, club or association at the same time.
The committee shall choose a designated public relations officer for the purpose of coordinating all news releases and collateral from within the guild and towards third parties.

Other designated jobs and jurisdictions shall be appointed when necessary within the committee. The committee can appoint members to fulfill certain tasks on a temporary or interim basis voluntarily for specific tasks.
The committee shall hold an annual AGM where members of the committee must be reelected individually.
The committee will be in charge of the running of the MCA, and must propose and approve all changes to the by law at the annual AGM.

The committee shall release a monthly newsletter to its members, in order to keep the members informed of developments, progress and activities.
The committee shall hold a monthly meeting and the minutes thereof shall be available for members to see at the AGM or within three (3) weeks notice at an agreed date and time at the monthly committee meeting.
