The Macau Culinary Association is formed in order to further develop the culinary standards within Macau, to give its members a sense of community and to further enhance the exchange of ideas and experiences between like-minded culinary professionals in Macau .

- Create friendship, professional co-operation and mutual understanding.

- Promote cooking, recipes, high quality products and technical knowledge

- To develop a local Chef Association which will gain respect and support both locally and internationally.

- Be a major influence in the training and recruiting of young personnel to increase professional standards within the industry in Macau

- Promote training and educational programs for members of the club.

- Organize with various related professional bodies and educational
 establishment, training courses apprenticeship schemes and related vocational links.

- To develop mutually beneficial contacts with all branches of the local and international hotel and catering industry endorsing support for the Association's activities.

- To assist in promoting Macau, its culinary professionals and the culinary establishments within Macau as well overseas.

- To actively promote support and organize local cooking exhibitions and competitions, participate in international competitions.

- The association shall operate as a non-profit organization and support charities on a regular basis.


The Committee may select the supported charities
based on the following priorities.
The selected charity must benefit causes within Macau

- The selected charity must have a proven record

- Association committee members shall not be involved with a selected charity
A minimum of 35% of the members must be present at the AGM in order to make the AGM and its decisions "binding" to the guild.
