Objective: :

It is typical that tourism industry practitioners need to interact with tourists coming from different countries with different religious and cultural backgrounds. As such, it becomes critical for tourism practitioners to acknowledge cultural differences in order to deliver quality customer service. This course, therefore, aims to impart students with the necessary knowledge in cultural and religious differences -- in the context of tourism business – so as to avoid the unnecessary conflict in guest relations. At the same time, students will also gain knowledge about the developments in the Macao cultural tourism in order to promote Macao accordingly and appropriately.
