Internship Programme

 

 
IFT offers four four-year bachelor degrees:
1. Bachelor of Science in Tourism Business Management;
2. Bachelor of Science in Heritage Management;
3. Bachelor of Science in Hotel Management; and
4. Bachelor of Science in Tourism Event Management.
It is a two-step programme, with students achieving a Higher Diploma (“Bacharelato”) after three years of study in one of the four disciplines. The medium of instruction for our programmes is English.  
 
A student shall be awarded the Higher Diploma provided that s/he has:
1. undertaken a programme of study normally for a period of not less than three academic years;
2. completed the mandated internship and the practicum according to the study plan;
3. obtained the total credit units by attending the courses as stipulated in the Regulations for Higher Diploma;
4. passed the prescribed examinations;
5. paid the prescribed fees; and
6. abided by the College’s regulations.

After graduating from any of the Higher Diploma Programmes may apply for the 4th Supplementary Year leading to relevant bachelor degree. The requirements, items (c) to (f) mentioned above are also applicable to the Bachelor Degree Programmes.Students who have obtained their Higher Diploma from overseas higher education institutions can also apply to attend the 4th Supplementary Year, subject to the approval of the Admission Panel.
