The objective of the course is to provide an introductory approach to the importance of the human component in organisations. Following an introduction to organisational theory, central themes as motivation, teamwork and customer satisfaction will be studied as potential determinants of organisational success. The theories will be applied to the fields of Tourism and Hotel Management, in a project approach. The project approach main goal is to develop a solid link between theory and practice, training the students to apply the concepts in organisational management and market realities.
