The principal objective of this course is to give an exposure to mathematical concepts and techniques required for solving common business problems. The course provides an introductory framework for the application of selected topics in algebra and calculus to business and economics with elements of computer based solution methods. Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to identify, formulate and solve numerical problems and effectively apply the outcome to the situation in context.
