This course provides an introduction to the principles of conservation and traces the history, development of, and major theories related to conservation practices. The course focuses on various strategies that can be utilized in dealing with sites of heritage value from restoration, reconstruction, to preservation and others. It will also introduce students to effective conservation systems, approaches, decision-making and frameworks.
