Alan commenced his hospitality career as the Finance Manager with Noah Lodge, Sydney in 2000. He became a teaching member with IFT in 2003 teaching subjects as English, Lodging Management and Accounting. In 2006, he returned to Hong Kong and took up the position of Academic Advisor (Accounting and Finance) with the Hong Kong Baptist University. His later instructorship with the Chinese University of Hong Kong provided him with an opportunity to pursue a specialization in teaching professional accountancy.
