Catering Management for Events is a “Practical and Theory Management” work assignment course. Throughout the semester, the course covers the major aspects of Catering Management in practical and theory, with particular reference to event organisation.

The course allows all students to put their theory into practice and experience “real life” management situations. It will develop and expand their management skills, supervision, event function planning, preparation, communication, confidence, guest contacts skills, motivation, food and beverage knowledge, creative skills for event organisation, directional skills and their ability to make sound effective decisions.
