Objective:

This qualification is intended for candidates who wish to:

  • gain some relevant basic knowledge and skills before progressing to LCCI qualification examinations.

  4. Purchases/Sales/Returns
  5. The Ledger: its subdivision
  6. Day Books
  7. Bank facilities/methods of payment or receipt of money
  8. Cash Book and cash discount
  9. Bank reconciliation
  10. Petty Cash Book and the Imprest System
  11. Trial Balance
  12. Adjusting for accruals and prepayments in the final accounts
  13. Depreciation of fixed assets
  14. The entries relating to bad debts
  15. The Journal
  16. Capital and revenue expenditure
  17. Errors in the accounts and their correction
  18. Effect of Profit (or Loss) and drawings upon capital
  19. Trading and Profit and Loss Accounts
  20. The Balance Sheet
  21. Control Accounts – an introduction

  • This course joins the Continuing Education Subsidy Scheme and is subsidized by Education Development Fund..  Participants should take note to the following:

    1. Only Macao residents are eligible to join the scheme.
    2. Participants should fulfill 75% attendance to receive the subsidy.
    3. Subsidy will only be offered twice for the same subject and declaration should be made to IFT . 
    4. Participants are eligible for two subsidised courses at a time.
    5. No subsidy will be offered for the third subsidised course and declaration should be made upon  application.
    6. Participants should provide correct and complete information.  Should there be any mistaken or false report, participants can be disqualified from joining the scheme and the received subsidies should be recouped.
