Macao applicants who perform very well in the admission examinations and have very good academic performance in senior secondary school can apply for the Institute's Scholarship (equivalent to 50% tuition fee). Alternatively, application for study loan may be made to Education and Youth Affairs Bureau or local banks.

In order to support and attract good students from Mainland China to study at IFT, for every academic year, Macao Foundation grants three scholarships (MOP30,000 for each recipient in each academic year) to new students who have excellent academic performance in high school. Successful applicants are required to maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 (78% or B) in each academic year to ensure the continuation of this scholarship.
